Sharpe's Trafalgar By Bernard Cornwell Book review by Dr. J. Sharpe fans have been eagerly anticipating the latest Sharpe adventure and Bernard Cornwell does not disappoint his most supportive fans. Just when you think that Sharpe has done just about everything possible, now he fights in probably the Royal Navy's most celebrated victory, the Battle of Trafalgar. Newly commissioned Ensign Sharpe is returning to England to join up with the newly formed 95th Rifles. His voyage home is filled with danger, spies, and romance. Once again our hero overcomes all and still manages to bugger the brains out of a woman. For guys this book has everything including: Ships, Cannons, Ships with Cannons, Guns, Swords, Violence, Sex, and Action! For the ladies there is always Richard Sharpe! Cornwell has managed to place our hero Richard Sharpe at the battle of Trafalgar without having him eclipse in exploits Lord Nelson and the Royal Navy. Sharpe is a participant but not the sole reason for Nelson's victory. While not available in the U.S. Sharpe's Trafalgar can purchased from Amazon.com in the United Kingdom. I highly recommend this book for all you die hard Sharpe fans! The only thing that I miss is poor old Sergeant Harper!
