“Jacksonian Institute of Technology” is just what some of my friends used to call me in high school (way before Rob Schneider’s “copier guy” on Saturday Night Live).  My name is Jackson and the nickname is sort of an oxymoron considering I have the attention span of a…  However, I did manage to graduate high school (“McCallie” boys prep – alma mater of the infamous “Dell dude”) and even get an Associates Degree in graphic design.

My only stand-out sport in high school was Cross Country (best time was 3 miles in 14:48 minutes), but, ever since, have been a surfing enthusiast (nowdays, only go a few days every couple of months –Pismo/Morro Bay).   Click here to see some of the Shipman Surfboards I’ve had custom made.

I also have a fascination with guitars (thank you: “Beatles”). Click here to see my instruments.

Hello.

Anyway, I’m 40 years old, average intelligence (or under), and not highly motivated…except to have fun.  I live in Lemoore, CA.  Other than here, I’ve always lived in the south (born in Madrid, Spain and, after 8 years, moved to Alabama, Tenn., SC then Florida…).
