Configure Windows for Wireless Internet Connections

 

  1. Click the Start button, select Settings, then Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Network icon.
  3. In the Configuration window, select the TCP/IP protocol line that has been associated with your network card/adapter.
  4. Click the Properties button, then choose the IP Address tab. Select Obtain an IP Address automatically.
  5. Choose the WIN Configuration tab, click Disable WINS Resolution.
  6. Choose the DNS Configuration tab and click Disable DNS.
  7. Click OK.
