To
set up OT/PPP, first configure the TCP/IP control
panel, then the Modem control panel, and finally
the PPP control panel.
Configuring
the TCP/IP Control Panel
- From
the Apple menu, point to Control Panels
and choose TCP/IP.
- Set
Connect via to PPP.
- In the
name server address box type 209.78.77.2
and 63.202.63.72 , each on a different
line.
- In the
Starting domain name text box, type lemoorenet.com.
- From
the File menu, choose Close.
- Click
the Save button.
Configuring
the Modem Control Panel
- From
the Apple menu, point to Control Panels
and choose Modem.
- Choose
your modem from the Modem list. If your
modem brand is not listed, consult your modem
documentation to install it.
- From
the File menu, choose Close.
- Click
the Save button.
Configuring
the PPP Control Panel
- From
the Apple menu, point to Control Panels
and choose PPP.
- In
the Name text box, type your LemooreNet
username (e.g., "johndoe"@lemoorenet.com).
- In
the Password text box, type your password.
- In
the Number text box, type a local LemooreNet
access number.
- Click
the Connect button.
