Outlook Express can be configured at the time of installation through the configuration wizard or manually, later on. Here are instructions for reconfiguring an existing account as well as configuring a new Outlook Express E-mail account.

Reconfiguring an Existing Account

  1. From the Tools menu, choose Account.
  2. Select the Mail tab.
  3. Select lemoorenet.com.
  4. Click the Properties button.
  5. In the Mail account text box, type mail.lemoorenet.com.
  6. In the Name text box, type your name.
  7. In the E-mail Address text box, type your LemooreNet e-mail address (e.g., "johndoe"@lemoorenet.com).
  8. Check Include this account when doing a full send and receive.
  9. Select the Servers tab.
  10. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) text box, type mail.lemoorenet.com.
  11. In the Incoming Mail (POP3) text box, type pop.lemoorenet.com.
  12. Select Log on using.
  13. In the Account name text box, type your LemooreNet username, excluding @lemoorenet.com (e.g., "johndoe").
  14. In the Password text box, type your password.
  15. Uncheck My server requires authentication.
  16. Select the Connection tab.
  17. Select Connect using my phone line.
  18. Under Use the following dial-up networking connection, select your LemooreNet dial-up connection.
  19. Select the Advanced tab.
  20. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) text box, type 25.
  21. In the Incoming Mail (POP3) text box, type 110.
  22. Move the Server timeouts slider to the right (toward Long) to set the Server timeouts value to 5 minutes.
  23. Click the OK button.
  24. Click the Close button.

Configuring a New Account

  1. Click the Add button.
  2. From the Add menu, choose Mail.
  3. In the Display name text box, type your name.
  4. Click the Next button to continue.
  5. In the E-mail address text box, type your LemooreNet e-mail address (e.g., "johndoe"@lemoorenet.com).
  6. In the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server text box, type pop.lemoorenet.com.
  7. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text box, type mail.lemoorenet.com.
  8. Click the Next button to continue.
  9. In the Password text box, type your password.
  10. Click the Next button to continue.
  11. Click the Next button.
  12. Select Connect using my phone line.
  13. Click the Next button to continue.
  14. Select Use an existing dial-up connection.
  15. Select your LemooreNet dial-up connection.
  16. Click the Next button to continue.
  17. Click the Finish button.
  18. Click the Close button.
