The Internet
control panel is used to set up a computer to access
various Internet status, such as receiving e-mail,
browsing the Web and reading newsgroups.
- From the Apple
menu, point to Control Panels and choose
Internet.
- Click the triangle
in the lower left hand corner to expand the window.
- In the Name
text box, type the user's name.
- In the E-mail
Address text box, type the user's e-mail address.
- Click the E-mail
tab.
- In the User
Account ID text box, type your LemooreNet
e-mail address, excluding @lemoorenet.com
(e.g., "johndoe").
- In the Incoming
Mail Server field type pop.lemoorenet.com.
- In the Password
text box, type your password.
- In the Outgoing
(SMTP) Mail Server field, type mail.lemoorenet.com.
- Click the Web
tab.
- In the Home
Page text box, type http://www.lemoorenet.com
- In the Search
Page text box, type http://www.excite.com
- Click the News
tab.
- In the News
(NNTP) Server text box, type news.lemoorenet.com.
- In the Name
text box, type lemoore.
- In the Password
text box, type the LemooreNet News Groups password.
You must call our office in order to receive
this password.
- Click the close
box to close the Internet control panel.
